Privacy Policy

Last updated July 2026

Template only — have this reviewed by a lawyer before accepting real users or payments.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers both our website and our mobile app. By using the service you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account details (name, email); the client and training information a trainer chooses to store (which may include goals, injuries, notes, measurements, and photos); and basic usage data needed to operate the service. If you use our mobile app, we may also collect the activity and notification data described below. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor (Stripe) and are never stored on our servers.

How we use information

To provide and improve the service, process payments, secure accounts, and communicate with you about the service. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your information for third-party advertising.

Apple Health data (mobile app)

On iPhone, if you choose to connect Apple Health, the app reads your step count and active energy (calories) on a read-only basis, so that your trainer can see how you are moving between sessions. We never write to or change your Health data, never use it for advertising, and never sell it. Connecting Apple Health is optional — you can decline the permission, and you can turn it off at any time in the iOS Settings app under Privacy & Security → Health.

Notifications (mobile app)

If you allow notifications, we store a device push token so we can send you alerts about new messages, booked or changed sessions, and payment requests. Notifications are optional and can be turned off at any time in your device settings.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate — for example our hosting and database provider, our payment processor (Stripe), and Apple's push notification service — and only as needed to run the service. A trainer's data is isolated from other trainers, and a client's information is visible only to their own trainer.

Data storage & security

Data is stored with our infrastructure providers and protected by access controls. Each trainer's data is isolated from other trainers at the database level.

Your choices & rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your data subject to legal retention requirements. Depending on where you live — for example California residents — you may have additional rights to know what personal information we hold, to request its deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We honor these requests regardless of location. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Children

The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
